I think one of my favorite things about this couple is how they make "outsiders" feel like part of the family. There truly is nothing more important to me than feeling like I "fit in" when I am working so closely with a couple on their wedding day. In an instant, Andrea's dad made me feel like his daughter, and the rest of the friends and family treated me as if I had been around for ages. To me, there is nothing worse and more uncomfortable than feeling like I am the "hired help." Because of this "family" feeling, right away the photographs went smoothly. We started at the hotel where Andrea and her girls were getting dressed. As I usually do it, once Andrea got her dress halfway on, I started snapping away. Ladies, you don't ever have to worry about what kind of photos I will take while you are getting dresses- I totally got your back. I always wait until you are covered by your dress to capture those moments- no awkward photos floating around!
Once everyone was ready, I followed the limo over to the White Hose Wedding Chapel where the ceremony was to take place. I have to admit, time allowed is short and the rules are just a little bit strict, but this place is gorgeous. It is actually one of the prettiest chapels I have ever seen or photographed. The really kept the photographs in mind while designing it. After the ceremony, we finished the group photos up and headed outside in the small garden area for more photos- until it started raining. Luckily, the couple wanted to get over to their reception at Barrister Gardens so finishing up a tad early on photos wasn't a big deal.
Once we arrived at Barrister, the fun was just beginning! Andrea and Brian are a TON of fun, along with their friends and family!
Thank you all for letting me be a part of your day! Mucho love guys! xoxoxoxoxoxox
